Buying the wrong pods is one of the most common and frustrating mistakes in vaping. Pods often look alike, brands release several generations of the same device, and a pod that fits one model may not fit the next. This guide covers the pod kits and replacement pods we carry at Vape Father, which pods go with which devices, and how to check before you buy.
Quick compatibility table
| Device | Pods that fit | At Vape Father |
|---|---|---|
| Uwell Caliburn G3 Lite | Caliburn G3 pods (Uwell G Pod Platform) | G3 Lite kit |
| Uwell Caliburn G3 Pro | Caliburn G3 and GPP-series cartridges | G3 Pro kit |
| RELX Infinity 2, Infinity, Essential, Artisan | RELX Pod Pro 2 (prefilled) | RELX Pod Pro 2, 3-pack |
| Vaporesso LUXE X and LUXE X Pro | LUXE X-series pods | LUXE X 0.3Ω, LUXE X 0.6Ω |
| OXVA XLIM SE 2 | XLIM Top Fill (V3), XLIM V2 and XLIM prefilled cartridges | XLIM SE 2 kit |
Manufacturers update their ranges often. Always check the compatibility list printed on the pod packaging against your exact device name.
Uwell Caliburn G3 Lite and G3 Pro
Uwell built its recent Caliburn devices around the G Pod Platform (GPP), so the same Caliburn G3 pods work across several models, including the G3, G3 Lite and GK3. The Caliburn G3 Lite ($26.99) has a 1200mAh battery and comes with a 0.6Ω refillable pod. The Caliburn G3 Pro ($40.99) has a 1000mAh battery, up to 35W of output, and accepts Caliburn G3 and GPP-series cartridges for either a tighter mouth-to-lung (MTL) or looser restricted direct-lung (RDL) draw, depending on the cartridge.
- Refillable G3 pods hold 2.5mL and fill from the side.
- Uwell also makes prefilled G3 pods (0.9Ω).
RELX Pod Pro 2
RELX Pod Pro 2 are prefilled, closed pods. Each pack has 3 pods, each holding 2mL at 18 mg/mL nicotine, for $18.99. Our listing gives compatibility as the RELX Infinity 2, RELX Infinity, RELX Essential and RELX Artisan. RELX has released several device generations, so confirm your exact model name, which is usually printed on the device or its box. See the full RELX collection.
Because they are prefilled, you can't refill RELX pods. When a pod is empty, replace it.
Vaporesso LUXE X pods
We stock LUXE X 0.3Ω and LUXE X 0.6Ω mesh pods at $5.99 each. They are refillable pods with built-in mesh coils and fit LUXE X-series devices, including the LUXE X and LUXE X Pro. Vaporesso's exact list depends on the device model, so check the pack.
- 0.3Ω is the lower resistance: more output and a looser, airier draw. Pair it with freebase e-liquids.
- 0.6Ω sits in the middle: a balance between a tighter draw and vapour output. It works well with salt nic e-liquids.
OXVA XLIM SE 2
The OXVA XLIM SE 2 ($28.99) has a 1000mAh battery and 5 to 30W of output. It takes OXVA's 2mL XLIM cartridges:
- XLIM Top Fill cartridges (V3): 0.4Ω, 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω
- XLIM V2 cartridges: 0.6Ω, 0.8Ω and 1.2Ω
- XLIM prefilled cartridges
The kit comes with 0.6Ω and 0.8Ω Top Fill cartridges. XLIM cartridges are shared across OXVA's XLIM family, so pods for one XLIM device often fit another. Check the pack to confirm.
What the ohm (Ω) number means
Each pod has a coil resistance measured in ohms. As a general guide:
| Resistance | Draw | Best with |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0Ω and above | Tight, mouth-to-lung | Salt nic e-liquids, lower power |
| 0.6Ω to 0.8Ω | Medium | Salt nic or freebase |
| 0.3Ω to 0.4Ω | Looser, more vapour | Freebase e-liquids, higher power |
If you are switching from disposables, a pod around 0.6Ω to 1.2Ω with a 20mg salt nic e-liquid will feel the most familiar.
How to check before you buy
- Find the exact model name on the device, usually on the side, base or under the pod. "Caliburn G3" and "Caliburn G2" take different pods.
- Read the pod pack. It lists the devices it fits.
- Match the resistance to what you use now, unless you want a different draw.
- Ask us. Bring your device to our Burnaby store and staff will check the fit, or text a photo of it to (236) 999-5334.
Getting the most from a new pod
- After filling a refillable pod, wait about five minutes before your first puff so the coil soaks.
- Start at the lower end of the recommended wattage and work up.
- Replace the pod when the flavour turns flat or burnt, or when it starts leaking.
- Don't overfill; leave a small air gap at the top.
Signs it's time for a new pod
- Flavour has faded, even with a full pod.
- A burnt or harsh taste that doesn't go away after letting the pod soak.
- Leaking around the pod or out of the airflow.
- Gurgling that doesn't clear after tapping out condensation.
- The device reads the pod inconsistently or shows a pod error.
How long a pod lasts depends on how much you vape, the e-liquid and the power setting. Sweeter e-liquids tend to wear coils faster.
Prefilled vs refillable pods
Prefilled pods like RELX Pod Pro 2 are sealed: you click one in and replace it when empty. They are simple but limit you to the flavours made for that system. Refillable pods, like the LUXE X and XLIM cartridges, let you use any compatible bottled e-liquid and usually cost less over time.

FAQ
Do RELX pods fit other brands?
No. RELX Pod Pro 2 pods are made for RELX devices only.
Can I use Caliburn G2 pods in a Caliburn G3?
No. The G3 family uses Uwell's G Pod Platform pods. Check the pack for "G3" or "GPP".
Can I put salt nic e-liquid in a LUXE X 0.3Ω pod?
It isn't recommended. Low-resistance pods run at higher power and are designed for freebase e-liquids. For a 20mg salt nic, use a higher-resistance pod.
